Connected Airports is a long-standing focus group designed to support airport owners looking to advance their capital delivery and campus management with BIM-based workflows. Curated by Airport owners, for airports and facilitated by Autodesk, we meet a couple of times per year. The aim is to provide a greater understanding of how BIM processes and principles from capital projects can integrate and enhance the ongoing Airport facilities management. We focus on what is driving airports to use BIM, whilst exploring some of the anticipated benefits from optimizing the data journey from design, construction, information & insights into operations and maintenance.
