Large-Scale Railway Projects: Planning and Coordination Strategies

In recent years, even before the BIM Plan came into force in public procurement, Adif has

been a pioneering organization in committing to BIM implementation for all future projects. According to this, Chamartín and Atocha Digital are initiatives developed under a strategic framework aimed at promoting the digitalization of all its future developments through BIM

methodology. These unique, complex, and ever-changing interventions represent a major challenge that requires a shared, coordinated, and federated vision, supported by Technical

Coordination Assistance. This approach will help to get a digital twin in the future, enabling advanced asset management and data-driven decision-making.
