Efficiency Underground: Málaga Metro's BIM and IFC 4x3 Integration
The Málaga Metro Line 2 extension used BIM for complex urban construction. Tasks included creating a 3D model for a cut-and-cover tunnel, interdisciplinary coordination using Navisworks, and 5D budget analysis. The event will showcase Autodesk software in a civil infrastructure project, highlighting challenges in Civil 3D for volume calculations and parametric modeling for utilities. IFC export enhancements for IFC 4X3 with multiple models will also be demonstrated.
