Maya Train: A Landmark Rail Project within Mexico’s Infrastructure Development
The Maya Train is the most important infrastructure, socioeconomic development, and tourism project undertaken in Mexico in recent years. The use of BIM methodology has been heterogeneous across the different phases of definition and execution, but it has represented a decisive step forward for Mexico’s AEC ecosystem. The project has highlighted the benefits that BIM modeling and document management tools bring to the design and supervision of such a large and complex infrastructure.
