Beginning in Spring of 2024, we are removing dongles and the floating license manager options from versions 2025 and onwards for all workgroup products. Subscribers have many options to migrate to new licensing models, detailed below. Versions 2024 and earlier are not affected by this change.

What’s changing? Dongle and floating license manager licenses will be incompatible for 2025 versions and onwards. Thales and subscription licenses will continue to be supported for customers, where applicable.

Changes to license models for Workgroup Products

Customers impacted by this change can migrate to an new Autodesk subscription or utilize Thales licensing.

If a customer is supported by InfoCare, they have the following licenses available to them through the Thales licensing model:

InfoWorks ICM: 10.0.8, 10.5.7, 11.0.6, 2021.1.2, 2021.2.4, 2021.3.1, 2021.4+

InfoWorks WS Pro: 4.0.7, 4.5.7, 5.0.8, 2021.1.3, 2021.4.3, 2021.6.2, 2021.7.2, 2021.8+

Note that accounts with Autodesk subscription can access the above past versions with Thales licensing by submitting a previous version exception.
