Urbanisation is creating many challenges in cities. Due to the large amount of concrete and asphalt, drainage of heavy rain and heat stress are an increasingly prevalent problem. As cities face up to managing the consequences of urban climate adaptation and regeneration, Blue-Green Infrastructure (BGI) / Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) offer new and innovative ways to meet this challenge.
